Research has shown that roughly 85% of children diagnosed with learning difficulties have a primary problem with reading and related language skills. Reading is a mental exercise that helps with your focus and vocabulary. In addition to academic success, reading is a key to life and makes you extra ordinary human being. It allows you to imagine possibility for your- self expansion and forms personality. Books can open your mind.
Why Summer Reading?
Research has shown that school-age children lose many of their reading skills over the summer month if they do not continue reading while they are out of school. It is important to keep our children reading and make sure they have fun doing so during this summer season.
No Limits Summer Reading Program
The purpose of No Limits summer reading program is to promote reading skills for Ethiopian and Eritrean children and youth during the summer periods. This program is open for kids of all ages (pre-K to grade 12). The program emphasizes the importance of reading for our kids at early age and gives tips on adapting the habit of reading for parents and children in our community.
